Is there an express route to progress?

Yes, there are two possible ways to speed up the learning process.

  1. Intensive Private Lessons: One option is to increase the frequency of your one-to-one sessions. Instead of just one lesson per week, you can attend two, three, or even more. This approach is especially effective when you have limited time to improve your language skills, as it allows for daily progress.

  2. Combining Learning Formats: The other option is to diversify your learning experience. In addition to private lessons, you can join group classes, speaking practice sessions, and community events. This increases your learning intensity, as the different formats reinforce each other—helping you improve faster.

Both methods are highly effective. The choice depends on your goals and schedule. You can read more about this in the blog article below.

Do you personalize the lessons?

Yes, if you need it, we can personalise it in 100%! Basically, your teacher will follow a theme appropriate to your level to develop your key language skills such as vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking rate and listening comprehension. It also helps you to increase your confidence and encourages you to speak grammatically correct.

If you have a specific idea about how you'd like to structure the lessons, be sure to discuss it with your teacher, especially during the first class. This way, they can take your interests or the specific areas you want to focus on into account and build future lessons accordingly.

Private lessons are online so you can learn anytime. You can choose which native speaker teacher you want to study with.

Is there a guarantee?

It’s important to note that the school and teachers are only part of the equation. What type of English do you teach?

Our language school offers various types of English training, including general, professional, and business English.

  1. General English: In our general English courses, we focus on everyday vocabulary, expressions, and the cultural context behind them — all essential for relaxed conversations and small talk. At beginner level, students acquire a vocabulary of 1,000–1,500 words; at intermediate level, this expands to 2,000–4,000, while advanced learners may reach 5,000–10,000 words. Lessons emphasize not only vocabulary expansion but also retention, supported by regular review and at‑home practice.
  2. Professional English: All of our teachers hold university degrees, allowing them to understand and process professional materials provided by students — whether journals, websites, correspondence, or spoken content. Based on these, they create personalized lesson plans that develop vocabulary and skills across fields such as marketing, procurement, HR, and corporate management.
  3. Business English: The goal of our business English training is to help students use English confidently in different areas of professional life. Our teachers’ academic and business backgrounds enable them to understand and work with student‑provided materials like financial reports, market analyses, presentations, and business correspondence. They design tailored lessons to develop key skills such as negotiation, business presentations, writing formal emails, and client communication. We place particular emphasis on finance, sales, international trade, HR, and project management, ensuring our students can navigate the business world effectively in English.

Café English homework

Good homework also contributes to the success of a group English course or an individual English course. Learning English means being prepared and not just doing the homework, but also doing the work. Regular homework is necessary to do well in class, to enjoy role-playing, to express yourself, to be able to give a presentation or an opinion on your favourite film or novel, and last but not least to be able to have a meaningful discussion in a group English class or individual English lesson. There are a variety of homework modules to choose from, so the key is to come to class prepared.

Who and why we offer Café English group lessons

Group English courses are held in the school with a native English teacher, with a minimum of three and a maximum of five participants. To learn English and overcome inhibitions effectively, small group sessions are the only way to make learning a real experience and to enable everyone to participate actively. For group English classes, it is crucial that you are here at the same time each time and you should be able to commit to three to six months. It's worth choosing this if you want to learn English in a fun and friendly group and get rid of inhibitions at an affordable price. The groups place a strong emphasis on English conversation practice.

How do online classes work?

With distance learning, language learning really comes home. Thanks to the right technical support, online English is like sitting in a language school. English lessons can make you feel like you're studying in the UK or the USA. Forget boring books or practice exercises: we focus on speaking from beginner to native level! With online English lessons, you don't have to travel, you have more time to study, and you can record your lessons and play them back whenever you want.

How are the lessons structured?

Whether it's an individual or group English course, you'll have engaging discussions in class, and your native English teacher will give you feedback on these. Classes start with a warm-up chat over coffee and tea, followed by a discussion of homework topics, listening to reports, watching presentations, debating and role-playing. The active native language environment helps your vocabulary to develop and over time you will find that you become more and more fluent in English.

Why is a mother tongue teacher good?

The native teachers speak little or no Hungarian, but this is not a disadvantage: you will be able to speak with a correct accent, without a distracting accent. You'll find it easier to communicate with colleagues and friends abroad, and you'll be able to understand English films on Netflix without subtitles.
„But how do I understand my teacher?” - you may ask. It's a legitimate question, but there's no need to worry, it's basically a guided lesson, the English teacher always focuses on one topic. As your vocabulary develops, you'll get to understand your teacher better and better, so practising your English will be easy.

What is the Café English speech-centred method?

You can use the colloquial English you learn in class in your work, leisure and many other areas of life. Classical topics such as introductions, getting to know people, travel and transport are always complemented by topical economic, political, technological, etc. issues. Your vocabulary will expand without difficulty. While practising your English, your teachers will also make sure that you not only learn new words or phrases, but also constantly repeat what you have already learned. The main goal is to learn English well: your speech should be routine, continuous and rich in vocabulary, and you should communicate in English.

How do private lesson passes work?

The language school is available in 4,6 and 8 lessons, with a choice of 45 or 60-minute lessons. They are valid for 30 days, but the starting date can be set by the student. Making an appointment with an English teacher is flexible and easy. Appointments can be booked online 24 hours a day. Classes can be held in person or online.

How do the package deals work?

Choose from three intensive packages to develop your English as quickly as possible in three months. Each package is a combination of a group English course, individual English lessons and daily live speaking practice. If you have a lot of free time, you should choose the super-intensive package.
