Café English tutors can help you experience a new dimension of learning English. All our tutors are native speakers, so there is no need to use Hungarian in our private English lessons. But it's much more than that! English is not just a language, it also brings a sense of freedom.

Our English private lessons are unique, as they are based on Cafe English's own framework. No matter which teacher you choose, you will experience the same exciting learning method. The lessons are modular, which means that they consist of 6-8 different modules depending on the length of the lesson. Each module is a small communication challenge, and we switch to a new topic every 6-8 minutes, so the lessons are always dynamic and fun.
English private lessons structure
Our private English lessons are basically divided into two main parts. Firstly, the teacher takes stock of the homework given in the previous lesson, and then introduces new topics and new words and phrases related to them. These new materials will be the new homework.
Structure of lessons with a private teacher
Speaking is at the heart of the lessons. Communication modules include listening comprehension, role-playing, presentations, film narration, talking about pictures, TED, talking about lectures, role-playing based on a Friends series extract, speech development board games, listening to and interpreting music, and practising English proverbs and phrases.
If you have a specific need, that's no problem! Our tutors are happy to tailor lessons to your interests. Textbooks are only used between A1 and B1 level, and only for a small part of the lesson, in dialogue form.
Learning English with confidence
Our aim is for you to become confident and fluent in English and to experience English not just as another language, but also as a way of thinking. Student safety is also important to us, so lessons are always based on your preparation and homework from the previous lesson. There are no unexpected questions, only topics and words you already know. This way, everyone can feel fully prepared in our lessons.

Finally, booking English lessons is extremely easy! We provide an internal website where you can choose your teacher and check when he or she is available. Choose the time that suits you best, so you can easily fit English lessons into your life.
Teachers are usually available between 8am and 8pm, with some teachers even available at weekends.
